　　《綠箭俠》是超級英雄版本的《復仇》。
　　因此本劇開頭對Ollie飛檐走壁百步穿楊的個人能力的夸張，擼主是可以接受的。英雄應該具有超于凡人的能力：除了射箭，在回家第一晚的家庭聚餐上編劇告訴我們Ollie至少掌握了一門語言，俄語；在Ollie給妹妹的靈符上，擼主能分辨出四個繁體中文字“箭不要殺”，對話中Ollie提到靈符的佛教意義。
　　由此，猜測：有人先于Ollie被困在“煉獄島”，要么是語言學家版黃藥師，要么是一個善于射箭的“中國通”（此角色類似《復仇》中的武田）。神秘人教會了Ollie射箭并且幫他制作裝備。沒準Dolce&Gabbana家裁縫常年隱居荒島給落難的人做衣服，否則難以想象一個富家公子如何定制出如此修身的連帽夾克。
