事實上Marshall and Lily也只是個烏托邦，我不信這樣的情侶真的存在.

我信奉情侶之間應該保持完整獨立的自我，經營自己的生活，互相欣賞，不斷激發彼此對生活新的看法與熱情。既能相濡以沫，又能相忘于江湖。而這樣的難度系數太高，風險太大。所以這大概就是我很難擁有像他們這樣簡單幸福的生活的原因。
Marshall and Lily是一對互相依賴，互相贊賞，互相感應，甚至一晚也無法離開彼此，永遠不會膩味的情侶。
很多人都不是這個類型，我們尋尋覓覓，最后還是難免會惆悵，為何只能做別人的路人。
總是要求太多和不斷尋覓的人，一定會走得很跌跌撞撞，或者用另一個詞來說，過得很精彩，這樣的人無法體會平平淡淡一旦擁有別無所求的感情。
但是再換個角度來看，活在這世上，如果不是有強烈的好奇心，也沒有探索和尋覓的精神，這樣一來在放棄了自我追求的時候就放棄了生活

yourself up to another person usually means opening yourself up to
going a little crazy.She thought about how much easier it was just to
be alone.

(Lily has to gain five pounds in a week and a half.)
Lily：This is the best wedding diet ever...
...I lost a pound.
Robin：That is impossible.
You ate McDonald's every meal for three days.
Lily Aldrin, drop and give me 20 bites of fudge!
