在群里種草的傳記片，不同的拍攝班底用四個短片橋接起John Berger的生命片段。
冬天的木屋內，他與同是11月5日出生的Tilda在昏暗的吊燈下削著蘋果聊起各自的父親，戰爭和歷史的沉默。想起之前看《四個春天》，過場間穿插著的也是枯枝和鳥，屋檐和貓，遠山未融的雪和霧。鄉下的農場里，年輕人向他問起政治和暴動，他說，十歲的牛已經年老，二十年壽命的馬也已經高齡，可對于農民而言，死去的總被新生的不斷替代，十年壽命的羊總是生生不息，所以羊群的壽命總比牧羊犬長久。

在看完他的紀錄片《觀看之道》之后，被他的智慧所吸引，想更了解這個人而買了這本書——《我們在此相遇》。
看一本書，就像是遠遠走來一個人，你嗅到了他身上獨特的氣味，然后你一步步深入去了解他，被他的睿智所吸引。
就是這個老爺子，成功引起了牛叔的關注。
他年輕的時候當過畫家、教過書、當過藝術批評家、寫的小說還獲過大獎提名。放在現在，就是大家常說的“斜杠青年”。
有人說他很激進，在紀錄片《觀看之道》里，他的一番言論顛覆了很多人的常識。
他吸引我的地方在于他自身獨立的思考。

今天聊聊電影《昆西四季》。
片名The Seasons in Quincy: Four Portraits of John Berger (2016)，別名約翰·伯格四季肖像(臺)。
本片是一部英國傳記紀錄片，影片于2016年2月13日在第66屆柏林電影節上首映，拍攝記錄了英國藝術批評家、作家約翰·伯格最后的一段時間。
約翰·伯格（John Berger）出生于1926年11月5日，2017年1月2日去世。他是當代英國藝術評論家、作家、畫家、編劇，被譽為西方左翼浪漫精神的真正傳人。
上世紀70年代

知道這部紀錄片，是因為《觀看之道》。看完《觀看之道》后，對約翰·伯格深表佩服，于是順藤摸瓜地找到了這部片子。在看之前，我就知道我自己一定會喜歡的，有思想的藝術家再加上優美的自然風光，我沒有理由不喜歡。
片中有許多我很受啟發的話，印象最深的是其對農村生活的理解。可能很多人會覺得農村生活閉塞，遠沒有城市生活精彩，但人所不知的是，鄉野一年四季風光不同，廣闊而值得探索，自然對我來說，是最貼近本真，最具有無窮樂趣的地方，更別說可以吃上自己親手種的蔬菜瓜果
