This movie explores rape in a way that has never appeared on British television before: from forensic science to police investigations, courts, and so on. Juliet was attacked by a stranger on New Year's Eve, and Kelly has known and trusted the person who attacked her for over a decade. In 2012, St. Mary's Hospital, a leading sexual assault referral center in the UK, allowed exclusive access. When they supported Juliet and Kelly, as well as over 1000 other rape victims seeking justice or attempting to continue their lives, the center opened its doors to cameras.
