Kapana was named after the barbecue sold on the streets of Namibia. This charming love story is the first gay love story in the Namibian film. It tells the story of the openly gay office clerk George and the private Capana vendor Simon. Men meet, flirt and hook up in the bar. In a country with strict anti-gay laws, the two people have different views on homosexuality. Simon believes that his accidental same-sex encounter will not make him gay.
