In rural Romania in the 19th century, a widow and mother of three were isolated from the world. She had to spare no effort to protect her family from the harm of an enemy transformed from an old friend of the family. This film is adapted from one of Romania's most famous folk stories (Ion Creanga's "The Goat and Her Three Children"), aiming to reveal the true essence of this famous bedtime story and treat the audience from different perspectives, allowing them to glimpse the tragedy beyond the joyful songs and amiable characters.
