In the third season of Ted Lasso, the newly promoted AFC Richmond team faced ridicule, because the media forecast generally believed that they were the last in the Premier League, and Nick Mohammed, now known as the "Magic Boy", had gone to West Ham United to play for Anthony Head. After Nate left Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) and Beard (Brendan Hunt) served as assistant coaches. At the same time, while Ted (Jason Sudekis) was coping with pressure at work, he continued to deal with his personal problems at home, Rebecca (Hannah Wadingham) focused on beating Rupert, and Gilly (Juno Temple) became the boss of his public relations agency.
