劇情：Dietz (Joel Courtney) is a reckless young wanderer who lives a life of escape. He was abandoned by his parents when he was young, taking care of himself and refusing to accept charity. He took whatever he wanted and ran away. Dez remained calm and determined not to take responsibility for anyone, living a life of theft and abandonment. When Dez floated to a small town on the Snake River, the situation changed. There, he met a calm and composed old man named Marty and fell in love with Marty's granddaughter, Serah. When Diz frantically robbed a local drug trafficker, he became the owner of a pile of cash and the target of two vicious assassins. Dez has too much money to know what to do, and criminals are closely following him. He puts the people he learns to care about in danger and is still working hard to win Serah. But some things cannot be stolen or bought. River Thief "is a movie about guilt, self sacrifice, and accepting life as a gift.展開
