OH Sun young, the wife of a university professor, discovered a new world after starting working at a boutique. She began to enjoy wearing dresses that highlighted her own characteristics, earning high sales profits, and dancing in the arms of men outside of her husband. However, the story took a turning point as she was caught in a hotel with a boutique owner who had been luring her. Since novelist JUNG Bee-suk wrote this series on "Seoul News," "Lady Liberty" has been a famous story. Despite controversies among writers and critics over moral issues, this book was published and produced into a play by the theater company Shinhyup. The film also set a new box office record of 130000, and its success has brought the prosperity of melodrama.
