劇情：In the early 1920s, George Lavon (Roman Duris) was traumatized by the terrible trench war. He decided to give up his life and, accompanied by the artist and war survivor Diouf, went to West Africa to enter the vast territory of Upper Volta. From village to village, George utilized Diouf's talent as a Grio and recruited villagers to work on plantations in Ghana. But his adventure brought him to a dead end, and he returned to Paris, where his brother Marcel (played by Gregory Gadbois) was a war disabled and lived with their mother. After the end of the European war, life would have ended without him. George will desperately seek his place with the help of H é l è ne (played by Celine Sallett) and his family. H é l è ne is a sign language teacher and he will have a turbulent relationship with him, while his family is left behind by him selfishly. He will ultimately attempt to heal them and his wounds.展開
