劇情：The story takes place in 1990, when a lonely bachelor named David (played by Brian Landis Foggins) tries to break free from the daily chores of taking care of his elderly mother (played by Catherine Brady). While searching for a partner through video dating services, he discovered a strange VHS video tape called Rent a Pal. This tape is hosted by the charismatic Andy (Will Wheaton), providing him with much-needed companionship, sympathy, and friendship. However, Andy's friendship comes with a price, and David desperately wants to afford the admission fee.展開
