Conqueror Entertainment, a production company based in Los Angeles and Beijing founded by former executive Vasco Xu of Legendary Entertainment, has included a Chinese film adaptation of the famous science fiction writer Liu Cicin's "Supernova Era" as one of its first projects. The company also plans to simultaneously produce an English language movie and TV series based on the same novel in the United States. Lu An is adapting this novel into a Chinese version, with Xu, Zheng Jie ("Farewell Forever"), Zhao Jilong ("Three People"), and Kong Ergou ("Time Travel") as producers. Brian Cheng and Sun Ge from Conqueror Entertainment will serve as executive producers.
